PERFORMERS AT TEEN NIGHT 2022

DREYTED

Under the name Dreyted, Los Angeles musician DeRon Munroe crafts catchy noisy pop music from his bedroom with a 4 track tape recorder.

PARK

Park is an indie pop band from the suburbs of Southern California that makes music inspired by boy pablo, Hippo Campus, The Strokes, and Rex Orange County, among others. In late 2019, Park’s primary songwriting duo began playing music together when Seb Yu (guitar, vocals) and Henry Dearborn (bass, vocals) had 5 classes together at school. After a few months of attempted songwriting and deciding that they got along alright, Seb and Henry decided to bring in childhood friends Pierce Lee (drums) and Johnny Woodruff (guitar), to complete the lineup. Forming only a month before the COVID pandemic, they spent the majority of their time as a band practicing cautiously while an uncertain future played out in the world around them. However, they managed to channel their isolation into creativity, writing songs and working together to better their musicianship as a collective over the last two years. Being only sophomores in high school, they’re writing more and more, with plans to record and release in the very near future.

TAP TAP

I started learning classical piano 12 years ago when I was four. Over the years playing piano I have performed at many concerts and competitions all around California. About 3 years ago I started jazz piano as well which I was able to focus on throughout Quarantine. This performance will be all jazz pieces/improvisation I have learned over the past 3 years!

BRITE

The three of us decided we wanted to cover a song just for fun and realized we meshed well playing together. After that we just kept playing.
