Portrait of my Childhood Bedroom by Lucy Levine
Lucy Levine uses illustration to reflect on how their childhood bedroom is a physical reflection of her own identity.
βThe childhood bedroom piece is a depiction of my environment which I grew up in and an important inspiration for creating it was all the posters on my wall, which I started putting up in middle school. The posters come from things I stole from my brother's room to flyers and museums from downtown LA. The posters contain my interests whether anime, a small part of my sketchbook, or parts of my cultural identity as being Jewish.β - Lucy Levine
